I tried Shaiya, but it wasn't like GW enough for me to play it for more than 3 days. And the pvp was the most ridiculos thing to understand :/

anyway, indeed it's hard to play other games, the only game apart from GW that i played for more than a month was Conan

YES. Haha I'm taking a break from GW right now.. started playing WoW and Warhammer around Janurary....

I have to say a sincere thank you to this game. These other MMOs are so painfully easy in comparison. I am immune to any addiction WoW may present, because I Have Seen the Light, and know that it is, in fact, a terrible, terrible game. PvE is boring and easy, and PvP... it should not even be called PvP, it is Gear vs. Gear, and the armor and character models look like ass.

WAR has some fun pvp but it is so unpolished and buggy and generally visually unfriendly.. I'm surprised it made it out of Beta, and the PvE is just as boring as WoW. Though admittedly I am currently having some good fun with War, if only because I think they got some tips from GW ;D.

I love that in Guild Wars, if I am beat down by somebody, I know that it's because they have a good build and use it well. If I die in WoW? Well it's probably just because either someone is a higher level, or their gear is better, or they have better potions or some crap. It's impossible to be good at WoW because it is impossible to be bad at WoW. It's all just based on how many +'s your gear has on it. Also, the classes are so imbalanced. I chose paladin because it was the most similar to paragon (I like buffan games) and LOL, SO OP.

I still play WoW if I have friends that are on it though, because 1) I'm not paying for it, my cousin is LOL and 2) it appeals to my inner 12 year old gurrrl gamer. TEEHEE, I HAVE A PONY I CAN RIDE AROUND! Teehee, I can turn into a kitty cat!!! Yayyyy we jump funny!! It cracks me up that it is mostly guys that are in to this game. The fact people are paying $180 a year to play this super cute girly game is so, so hilarious to me.

WoW has turned into more of a prestige thing. Many people play it because it's the "cool" thing to do now.
WaR is awesome, but so buggy and unfinished...
I feel myself being attracted back to GW. Since I'm at a bigger school now and have a larger workload, I just don't have the time for the others. Curse you guys :P

I don't know a single cool person that plays WoW.
